About McVey Marble & Tile Inc.

Cly Tee and Terri McVey began McVey Marble & Tile, Inc. in November 1990.  Mr. McVey’s background was as a marble setter doing commercial granite work, such as much of the construction of the buildings in the Galleria and Greenway Plaza areas when they were originally being developed.  Eventually, he became a Superintendent for the granite contractor he worked for and, after many years of traveling around the country supervising large commercial jobs, decided to begin working for himself in order to be at home with his family.

Terri became involved at that time and evolved with the company, learning from the ground up.  She now meets with clients, estimates, and gives suggestions for granite, marble and tile selections and can assist with design ideas.

McVey Marble & Tile’s growth is also attributable to the addition in 1996 of Kevin Plouff, a marble setter by trade, who worked with Mr. McVey around the country on numerous commercial projects.  He has extensive residential and commercial experience and is responsible for estimating and developing commercial projects.

Martin Sauceda and Ashley Dietz are our Project Coordinators. 

Martin joined the company in 1994 and is now responsible for field measuring and oversees slab fabrication.  He also schedules and coordinates residential and commercial installations.

Ashley became a full-time member of our staff in 2007.  However, she has grown up in the business and therefore, has extensive knowledge about the industry.  Ashley is responsible for answering client questions, ordering project materials and coordinating commercial projects.
